Keighley Tree Services (KTS) are a family based company that has been established 23 years, building the business up from scratch, David Walbank the founder, formerly work for Bradford Metropolitan Council parks department, and progressed through the ranks of apprenticeship before becoming their lead climber in the arboricultural unit.

KTS are now well established and respected, they are based at Crossroads, Keighley, at an industrial site that houses the offices, workshops and sawmill, it is here where we return any products from sites to be recycled, all branches are chipped and can be used for mulching gardens, horse arenas, footpaths, children’s playgrounds etc., large misshapen trunks etc. are cut into logs and distributed for fuel being carbon neutral, large clean tree trunks are cut up in the saw mill and dried to be sold on for a variety of uses, e.g. Oak beams, planks for furniture and making wood turnings etc., even the tree stumps can be ground so they compost down, recycling has been part of KTS operations long before it became popular.

We have a large and varied fleet of up to date compliant equipment fully serviced to cope with any tree related situation in the most cost effective way, from the small garden to buildings sites and processing miles of vegetation problems along the railway infrastructure.

All work is carried out by fully competent staff trained at varying levels through the NPTC examination board, they work to industry best practice up to BS5998 standards, and is covered by a 5 million pound public liability insurance.

Being a family based business we are small enough to care, but large enough to cope, ensuring we give a quality service at all times, covering most parts of the country, we are also registered with various utility databases, through which we are audited ensuring the highest of standards at all times, and peace of mind for you.
